About the Teacher

Since his teaching journey began in January 2017, Sinclair has emerged as a highly accomplished and sought-after piano and voice instructor. He began learning music and performing as a child, with a noted interest in contemporary, classical, rock, jazz, and musical theatre. He has an extensive performance resume, and has appeared solo and in bands on live music circuits and in recording studios. He has studied under many industry-leading vocal and piano pedagogues, including Danni Da Ros, Darren Heinrich, Dave MacRae, Glenn Whitehall, Greg Coffin and Marion Rouvas. He regularly engages in professional development and constantly seeks out new pedagogical techniques and teaching resources.

When not in the studio, Sinclair teaches classroom music at several local NESA high schools. Past teaching experiences at Arndell Anglican College, Cherrybrook Technology High School, Glenwood High School, St Madeleine’s Primary School and St Leo’s Catholic College have acquainted Sinclair with teaching techniques in the classroom, in small groups and in one-one-one lessons. At St Madeleine’s, he self-managed a music tuition program, led the school choir, directed musical items at the annual Christmas concert, and staged many performance showcases. He has also tutored at several leading music schools, including Castle Hill Music Centre, Maxx Music Castle Hill, JHM Academy and Carlingford School of Music.
